Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Site Engineer (Land Development) for our Wilmington, NC office. You will lead site development and utility projects, producing construction documents from concept through construction with a strong emphasis on permitting and client coordination.

The ideal candidate has 4–8+ years of Civil/Land Development experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, and hydrology software, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of Civil/Land Development experience.
• EIT or PE License Preferred.
• Strong civil background in site development, permitting, and construction estimating.
• Able to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience designing projects from conceptual to construction stage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulic software.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead engineer/designer for site development and/or water and wastewater projects.
• Produce construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater, water/sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design with calculations and reports.
• Perform project design duties with a team to develop detailed design documents for construction.
• Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain permits.
