Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join our growing Northern Virginia engineering team.

You will work on land development and site design for commercial, residential, mixed-use, and municipal projects from concept through construction. Ideal candidates have 2–10 years of civil engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.
• EIT or PE license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site development plans, grading, drainage, utility, and erosion & sediment control designs.
• Perform site layout, stormwater management, and utility design using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and permit applications.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Support construction administration and respond to field-related questions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.
