Responsibilities

1. Perform design tasks, including conceptual layouts, grading, and drainage for civil engineering projects.
2. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 and collaborate with office staff/management to complete projects within budgets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations (VA/MD).
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and site development design.
• Demonstrated Civil 3D skills from concept to completion.
• Effective communication with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficiency in English for understanding written and verbal instructions.

Compensation: $70,000-$85,000/year, DOE
