Our Quad City office has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer with 2 to 8 years of experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering university
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Service-oriented mindset towards clients
• Internships or summer experience in civil engineering or construction is a plus
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings, including sheet references and layering
• Scheduled to take or have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam to obtain the Engineering license in Iowa

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior civil engineers with entry-level tasks
• Support engineering design for various public and private projects across sectors such as industrial, healthcare, education, commercial, and government
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings, reports, and technical specifications
• Design roadway, trail, parking lot, site grading, drainage, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and other site components
• Perform onsite construction administration and observation, ensuring contractor compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Manage time and workload effectively, with attention to detail
