Job summary

KPFF San Diego is seeking experienced civil engineers with 3 to 5 years of site development experience. The role focuses on civil design for site grading, water and sewer, storm drainage, and hydrology calculations, coordinating with staff and clients to deliver construction documents and specifications. Ideal candidates will hold E.I.T.

or P.E. licenses, be self-motivated, and proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• E.I.T. or P.E. license required.
• 3–5 years of site development engineering experience.
• Self-starter and self-motivated.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydrology modeling programs.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willing to visit job sites and inspect conditions.

Responsibilities

• Design site development projects including grading, water, sewer, and drainage.
• Coordinate work with staff and design team; prepare construction documents and specs.
• Research, permitting, and project coordination to support projects.
