Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Civil Site Designer II to join our Civil Site and Land Development team in the Raleigh/Charlotte/Wilmington region. Ideal candidates have backgrounds in civil engineering, land development, site design, municipal engineering, or water resources and are eager to contribute to impactful projects.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, perform engineering analyses, develop designs, and prepare supporting calculations and documentation while gaining hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• Two years of site development experience preferred.
• Experience with site design, utility layout, grading and stormwater systems.
• Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses, develop designs and prepare supporting calculations.
• Coordinate drafting of project elements for diverse client base.
• Gain hands-on experience in site layout, utilities, grading and stormwater design.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on land development projects.
• Support field inspections and project delivery as needed.
