Job summary

Kleinfelder Inc. in Delaware invites a Civil Site Designer/Engineer to join our growing team in Dover or New Castle. You will develop engineered construction plans using Civil 3D, collaborate with civil engineers, and contribute to high-quality site designs for private and public-sector clients.

This hybrid role offers opportunities for growth, adherence to standards, and involvement in multi-disciplinary projects across transportation, water, energy infrastructure, and more in the Delaware area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• EI or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Using Civil 3D to create construction plans, alignments, profiles, and grading features.
• Collaborating with civil engineers, project leaders, and team members to refine designs.
• Designing site layouts, stormwater management, grading, and infrastructure for private/public clients.
• Leading project meetings with internal staff, clients, and agencies to ensure deadlines and budgets.
