Job summary
3 Rocks Engineering & Surveying is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead and grow our civil sector in Southeast Colorado. This leadership role focuses on directing growth, building a high-performing team, and representing the civil practice with clients and at events.
The candidate should bring 10+ years of civil engineering experience, a PE license in civil engineering (Colorado licensed or able to obtain), and a proven record of business development and leadership.
Qualifications
- PE license in Civil Engineering (Colorado licensed or able to obtain by comity within one month).
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience with a track record of leading teams and growing a book of business.
- Proven success generating new work and building client relationships.
- Experience mentoring engineers and project managers.
- Strong communication and ability to be the face of the sector.
Responsibilities
- Own the growth strategy for the civil sector and build client relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and PMs.
- Partner with ownership on the sector's role in the firm’s long-term growth plan.
