DEPCOM Power is seeking a Civil Scope Engineer in Katy, TX to own civil scope across estimating, engineering, construction and environmental interfaces. The role translates site data, permits and design assumptions into executable scope for pricing, handoff, and field execution.

This field-first, safety- and compliance-focused position requires travel up to 25% and experience with civil estimating, constructability, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure or Engineer-in-Training highly preferred.
• Experience with civil estimating, design deliverables, and constructability reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own clear, complete civil scope across estimating, engineering, construction, environmental, safety, quality, and commercial functions.
• Translate site data, requirements, and permit needs into executable scope for pricing, handoff, and field execution.
• Coordinate with engineers of record to ensure scope alignment and constructability.
• Track quantities and costs; support RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.
• Lead civil handoffs with clear scope, exclusions, risks, and open items.
