We are looking to add a Transportation Project Manager (PE) to our brand-new Bismarck team who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities! As a Transportation Project Manager for our Bismarck market, you will lead design teams and support team development and business growth. Join a growing business line within an established firm, with mentorship from experienced leaders to advance your career.

This role offers hybrid work flexibility with the opportunity to work from our new Bismarck office.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Cultivate client relationships in transportation markets to support business growth in North Dakota.
2. Manage transportation project design and delivery, including roadway, drainage, traffic, and preservation design for clients such as CDOT, Counties, and Cities.
3. Collaborate with contractors and owners to develop innovative construction staging approaches.
4. Lead and mentor junior staff, promoting their technical growth.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited university.
2. Licensed Professional Engineer in North Dakota.
3. 8+ years of highway design experience.
4. Understanding of NDDOT and AASHTO design standards.
5. Experience managing and mentoring staff.
6. Experience with project management, proposals, and business development.
7. Strong technical engineering knowledge.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Valid driver’s license.
