Job summary

Red Ox Construction is seeking a Civil Project Manager to own civil projects from planning to completion, ensuring materials, quality, schedule, and cost meet standards. The role requires leadership to guide teams through complex scopes while managing client and partner relationships.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in municipal/state projects, risk management, and regulatory compliance, with a track record of on-time delivery and budget control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of civil construction experience.
• At least 2 years of prior experience serving as a Project Manager.
• Experience delivering municipal/state infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of public-sector delivery, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven budgets, schedules, and client relationships management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for municipal and/or state civil infrastructure projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead project delivery for transportation, roadway, drainage, utilities, water/wastewater, or similar public-sector projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for municipal, county, and state agency clients.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state, municipal, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company standards, client expectations, and contractual obligations.
