Job summary

Cartwright Nor Cal (CNC) is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager for our Downtown Sacramento office. You will oversee civil engineering and construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication to meet contract requirements and regulatory standards.

The role requires California-registered PE with 2–5 years of project leadership, experience with infrastructure or land development, and proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD, and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in California with 2–5 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing civil infrastructure, land development, or construction projects for private development clients.
• Proficiency with project management tools and civil design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil engineering and construction projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Review plans, lead project meetings, track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues to stay on schedule.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure quality, safety, and performance on site.
