Job summary

Jobtailor in Kansas is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering projects, plan teams, and drive on-time delivery. You will coordinate client relations, oversee design meetings, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets.

A PE license in Missouri or ability to obtain within 4 months is required. Strong leadership and communication with peers, senior staff, and clients are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri or able to obtain within 4 months.
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in the design of streets and highways.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations for street and highway design.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple team members and coordinate with engineers and technicians.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior staff, and clients.
  • Experience with winning and executing state DOT highway, street, or sidewalk/trail projects preferred.
  • Applicants must not require work visa sponsorship.
