Responsibilities

As a Civil Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include

• Leading and managing the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Utilizing AutoCAD/Civil3D to create, revise and maintain engineering and design drawings.
• Coordinating with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
• Applying knowledge of Maryland civil guidelines and permitting process to ensure project compliance.
• Preparing and reviewing construction documents, specifications, and reports.
• Delegating tasks to team members, monitoring progress, and providing guidance as needed.
• Identifying and mitigating potential project risks and issues.
• Ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through effective communication and client management skills.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the Civil Project Manager role, you must have

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of engineering design experience, with a focus on civil projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of Maryland civil guidelines and the permitting process.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing construction documents.
• Exceptional client management skills, with a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
