Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut Inc., a CRH company, is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to bid, manage and execute roadway construction projects. You will oversee timelines, budgets, and resources for DOT, CAA, FAA, and private contracts, with some municipal work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, plus 4+ years in estimating/PM.
• Alternatively, 8+ years in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bids from market analysis to submission and award.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates with accuracy.
• Manage project schedule, budgets, and resources across DOT paving projects.
• Coordinate with operations to improve bidding opportunities and reduce margin erosion.
• Lead bid reviews with management and negotiate contracts with stakeholders.
• Monitor plans/specifications to avoid errors and ensure compliance.
• Guide project teams and maintain safety and quality standards.
