Job summary

David Mason + Associates is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our Philadelphia team. The candidate will support site design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications for educational, healthcare, and utility projects in the Philadelphia tri-state region.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, possess 5+ years of related experience, and hold a Pennsylvania Professional Engineer license. This FT exempt role offers growth and multi-project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering License in Pennsylvania required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee construction drawings, specifications, design, calculations, and technical reports.
• Prepare engineer's opinion of probable construction cost.
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Prepare and oversee permit applications for municipal agencies.
• Delegate and oversee design tasks to technicians and staff engineers.
