Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Project Engineer - Heavy Civil in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on managing all stages of construction, coordinating with architects and contractors, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. PE license is a plus, with a strong base salary and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry with a focus on structural engineering.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish, on time and within budget.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license will be considered an advantage.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing all stages of the construction process, from design to completion.
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including resources, timeline, budget, and risk management strategies.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure that construction activities comply with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Implementing advanced structural engineering techniques and methodologies to solve complex construction challenges.
  • Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
  • Resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process, from technical problems to disputes with suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Continuously improving our construction processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality.
