Job summary

Hubbard Construction Company in the Jacksonville, FL area seeks a Project Engineer to develop, manage, and execute all phases of cost control and planning for major projects.

You will guide project controls, interface with clients and subcontractors, maintain schedules, prepare change orders, and ensure safe, efficient operations on site.

Requires a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 2+ years in project controls; proficiency with Excel, Primavera, and SAP is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
• 2+ years in Project Controls/Construction Scheduling; roads/highways/bridges preferred.
• Basic civil engineering knowledge; proficient with Excel, Primavera, SAP.
• Effective communication with job site supervisors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Field Engineers on site.
• Schedule Quality Control Team.
• Coordinate with subcontractors as required.
• Maintain project schedule including materials, equipment and subs.
• Prepare change orders and logs for review.
