Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Project Engineer for our Dallas/Fort Worth area to apply broad engineering knowledge across mixed-use, commercial, and site development projects. A registered Professional Engineer with 6+ years of experience is required, along with strong design and coordination capabilities in Civil 3D and related disciplines.

You will guide project teams, manage scope, budgets, and schedules, liaise with clients, and contribute to marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 6+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare planning and design documents in appropriate engineering discipline.
• Perform design calculations and cost estimates; evaluate alternatives.
• Assist with scope, schedule, and budget development and monitoring.
• Coordinate projects with Olsson teams; review work and inform project managers of progress.
• Assist with marketing and proposals; may serve as project manager on small projects.
• Independently perform assignments on complex projects; supervise staff as needed.
