Job summary

Royal Engineers and Consultants, LLC is seeking a licensed Associate Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Baton Rouge team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for guiding civil projects from concept to completion.

You will consult with stakeholders, plan designs, evaluate site conditions, collaborate with architects and contractors, and ensure safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics.
• Professional Engineer license (PE) required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 4–8 years of experience in managing, designing, planning, and/or constructing projects.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders on engineering requirements for construction.
• Plan and design to render accurate civil designs and related systems.
• Analyze materials and geologic/topographic data for project planning.
• Draft and present project reports.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs.
• Evaluate worksite conditions to aid design.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to progress projects.
• Monitor progress and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain structures after completion.
