Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Civil Project Engineer in Reno, NV. This role focuses on municipal infrastructure projects, requiring a PE license and extensive civil engineering experience.

You will lead design, bidding, and construction phases, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and drive project success while collaborating with clients and city staff to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience with a municipal focus.
• AutoCAD is required; Civil 3D preferred.

Your Responsibilities as a Civil Project Engineer:

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents, with a preferred focus on municipal infrastructure projects
• Manage and lead construction observation and project management services to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and specifications
• Provide technical guidance and quality control to ensure project deliverables meet all required specifications
• Lead client interactions during the design, bidding, contracting, and construction phases, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction
• Coordinate closely with municipal staff and regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues and Division Manager to manage and support various infrastructure projects
• Engage regularly with city councils, public works departments, and other local entities to discuss project details, provide updates, and align engineering solutions with community needs, and drive strategic initiatives

What we're looking for:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on municipal engineering
• AutoCAD required; Civil 3D preferred

Annual Expected Pay Range

$120,000—$200,000 USD
