Job summary

Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer and/or Project Manager to plan, design, and manage civil projects from concept through construction in Utah.

You will lead the technical design of moderately complex projects and oversee scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships to ensure goals are met. Experience requirements include 4+ years for a Project Engineer or 8+ years for a Project Manager, with Utah PE and strong collaboration across disciplines, CAD, GIS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Project Engineer: 4+ years; Project Manager: 8+ years, including 2+ years in project or client management.
• Utah Professional Engineer (PE).
• Proven track record of working with technical teams and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design civil projects, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and task lists; monitor milestones and deliverables.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage agreements and progress reports.
• Coordinate with CAD, GIS, surveying teams and other disciplines.
