Civil Project Engineer - Land Development - $5,000 Hiring Incentive

Our team is seeking a talented and dedicated Civil Project Engineer with expertise in land development. If you are eager to manage multiple projects and contribute to building a high-performing team, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

This position is fully remote with an optional hybrid schedule based on location.

Pay is DOE: $48-$58+/hr plus a sign-on bonus.

*The offered pay range will be determined by factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific circumstances of each candidate and role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and other project documents with minimal supervision
• Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications
• Create grading plans, profiles, road designs, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards
• Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
• Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to complete projects on time and within budget
• Develop site development plans for various scales of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects

Requirements:

• 5+ years of site development design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading tools, alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Self-motivated with a commitment to excellent client service
