Job description

Civil Project Engineer - Land Development - $5,000 Hiring Incentive

Our team is seeking a talented and dedicated Civil Project Engineer with expertise in land development. If you're eager to manage multiple projects and contribute to building a high-performing team, this is an excellent opportunity for you!

This position is fully remote with an optional hybrid schedule based on location.

Pay is DOE: $48-$58+/hr + Sign-On Bonus. The final compensation will depend on your knowledge, skills, and experience, with decisions made on a case-by-case basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and other project documents with minimal supervision
  • Coordinate permit applications with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants
  • Create grading plans, profiles, road designs, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Research regulatory requirements and design standards
  • Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
  • Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to complete projects timely and within budget
  • Develop site plans for residential, commercial, industrial projects, and master-planned communities

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of site development design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience (preferred)
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading tools, alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering excellent client service
