MPI in Columbia, SC is seeking a Project Engineer for a Top Civil GC role. The position focuses on drafting, reporting, and supporting the project team on heavy highway and sitework projects in the Columbia area.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Proficient with construction estimating software and related tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, plus interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Draft memos, reports and documents for project needs.
• Support the project manager and project team.
• Collaborate with other project engineers.
• Prepare and send letters to subcontractors and vendors.
• Communicate project requirements to subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of change orders.
• Review drawings for changes and clarifications.
• Meet with Owner's team to plan, schedule access, and develop work and safety plans.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
