Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation in the Pittsburgh area seeks an on-site Engineering professional to plan, coordinate, and manage daily construction activities and communications with subcontractors on heavy civil projects.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly owner pay estimates, updating the Project CPM schedule, budgets, change orders, and cost reports; leading weekly staff reviews and other duties as assigned. A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of heavy civil experience are required.

Qualifications

• Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering daily activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors.
• Prepares monthly Owner pay estimates, reviews subcontractor pay requests after updating the Project CPM schedule.
• Prepares and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project Director's/Manager's review and approval.
• Prepares and leads weekly staff and regular review meetings.
• 5 years of engineering experience in heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site construction activities and communicate with subcontractors.
• Maintain the Project CPM schedule and update pay estimates.
• Prepare budgets, change orders, and cost reports for leadership review.
• Lead weekly project review meetings and provide guidance to the team.
