Job summary

WK Dickson, an Ardurra Company, is hiring a Civil Project Engineer for our energy practice in Charlotte or Wilmington, North Carolina. The role focuses on site design, permitting, and construction oversight for utilities and land development projects.

You will work under senior staff, offering mentorship and opportunities to contribute to major energy projects while collaborating with the Land Development group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 2+ years civil engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interface with clients, contractors, regulators.
• PE license in NC is nice to have but not required.
• Comfort with AutoCAD and Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist or lead the preparation of reports, opinions, and recommendations for the client.
• Conduct data collection with emphasis on data integrity and protocol compliance; utilize data acquisition equipment.
• Assist or lead project concept designs and participate in final project design.
• Construction oversight on infrastructure and land development projects; write daily reports and review pay requests.
