Job summary

AHBL in Tacoma seeks a Civil Project Engineer to deliver impactful civil design work with clients and cross-functional teams from concept to construction.

You will handle land development projects including subdivisions, master plans, schools, and parks, preparing designs, specs, and calculations for site developments, stormwater, and utilities.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, 4+ years of site design experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required).
• PE License (required).
• 4+ years of civil engineering site design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Proficient in stormwater modeling (WWHM, MGS Flood).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects (subdivisions, master plans, multi-family, roadways, schools, municipal buildings, parks, healthcare facilities).
• Prepare civil designs, specifications, and calculations for site developments, roads, stormwater, and utilities (grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water).
• Collaborate with clients and team members to drive projects from concept to construction.
