David Mason + Associates has provided high-quality civil engineering services since 1989. Headquartered in St. Louis with offices in Chicago & Philadelphia, DMA is looking for passionate civil engineers with Site Design/Land Development experience eager to support the growth of our St. Louis office!

Our Civil Engineering Team specializes in site development & design, including utility coordination, grading & drainage plans, SWPPP & design, survey evaluation, and more. We serve clients across education, healthcare, utility industries, and others, with engineers preparing design plans for new construction & renovation projects.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, possess 10+ years of related engineering experience, at least 5 years in civil design, and a Professional Engineering License (preferably in Missouri, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Florida).

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and overseeing construction drawings, specifications, design calculations, and reports
• Estimating project costs and preparing project schedules
• Managing permit applications and coordinating with municipal agencies
• Delegating tasks to Technicians, Designers, and Staff Engineers
• Collaborating with project teams and clients during construction
• Conducting site investigations and inspections as needed
• Assisting in proposals, budgets, billing, and business development activities
• Mentoring team members and overseeing multiple projects concurrently
• Ensuring safety, design standards, and project specifications are met
• Participating in sign-offs and documentation as per firm policies
• Adhering to company safety and employee manuals
• Performing other duties as assigned
