Job description

Wilson & Company is seeking a professional engineer to serve as a Civil Project Engineer in our Loveland, CO office. This position will function as the lead design engineer/design manager on projects and include limited management responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for developing plans and specifications following applicable standards. The candidate shall have an excellent understanding of the design process and mentor a team of engineers. Duties will also include communication with and coordination of other engineers, clients, agencies, and consultants, as needed, to complete projects.The candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer and have experience with roadway design, land development design, drainage design, and general civil engineering. Experience developing construction bid packages for multi-discipline, multi-standard projects for local agencies is preferred. (e.g., CDOT, City of Fort Collins, Larimer County)The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can multitask and pay close attention to detail. We are looking for someone with a detailed understanding of roadway, grading, drainage and utility design. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and established client relationships who enjoys working in a team environment in a fast-paced, professional setting.Responsibilities:Client and design team interaction and coordination.Coordinate the plans and schedules of detailed phases of the engineering work.
