Our current opening for a Civil Project Engineer is somewhat unique, as the position can be tailored to suit the successful candidate on several levels. Major Responsibilities:

• Providing engineered geotechnical and structural solutions to a wide variety of clients.
• Managing projects from inception to completion, including:
• Evaluating structural & geotechnical data
• Construction estimating
• Developing material take-offs and quotes for clients
• Answering technical questions
• Preparing and reviewing engineering submittals
• Interacting daily with contractors & engineers
• Communicating with intercompany departments to meet project needs
• Visiting job sites for training

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management from an ABET-accredited university program
• 1-5 years of experience in construction and/or engineering industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and an independent thinker
• Ability to obtain or test for EIT; PE is a plus but not required
