Job summary

Saber Power Services is seeking a Project Development Engineer – Civil to translate client requirements into civil design deliverables for early-stage project development. You will work with Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management to define scope, risks, and constructability, enabling accurate estimates and successful execution.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for civil site development.
Excellent communication and organization with cross-disciplinary teams.
Ability to work with limited supervision on civil design and documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop civil baselines of design, assumptions, scope, and criteria for project development.
Prepare conceptual site layouts, grading concepts, drainage plans, and foundation concepts.
Estimate civil quantities and prelim costs for earthwork, foundations, utilities, and paving.
Support estimating with labor, materials, and equipment inputs and clarifications.
Assess client requirements, surveys, permits, and site constraints to identify risks.
Coordinate with electrical, structural, environmental, and geotechnical teams.
Document engineering assumptions and lessons learned for future projects.
Assist in transitioning projects to detailed engineering with complete packages.
