Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 21 years old.
• Thorough knowledge of Sheriff's Department procedures.
• Ability to plan and schedule delivery of legal documents.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents including summonses and court orders; execute levies as needed.
• Deliver documents to parties in the County and other states as required.
• Respond to inquiries about enforcement procedures and case status.
• Verify document information and schedule process serving; return documents to courts.
• Maintain department records and assist the public and other County departments.
