Job Overview
HDR is hiring a Civil/Municipal Project Manager for our office in Houston or Corpus Christi, Texas. This role focuses on delivering safe water infrastructure, modernizing systems, and driving sustainable solutions for communities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
- Lead engineering/process design, project coordination, write engineering specifications, plan work, establish design methods, prepare reports, and coordinate equipment sizing and selection.
- Work directly with owners and clients, establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites with technical professionals and other disciplines, coordinating staffing/workload through development to completion.
- Collaborate with Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers, Area Manager, and Managing Principal for project reviews.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct training for personnel.
- Mentor less experienced project staff for professional growth.
- Serve as client manager for several strategic clients in central Texas.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 7 years of related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with MS Office and MS Project (Access experience is a plus).
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
