Water/Wastewater Project Manager – HDR

As part of our Water Business Group, you’ll help shape how communities manage water for generations to come.

In this role, you'll lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams through the project lifecycle, manage project budgets and schedules, coordinate client relationships, and implement QA/QC procedures. Your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the work of single or multi‑discipline teams from development to close‑out.
  • Manage complex small to medium projects or routine large projects, producing and coordinating several small to medium projects concurrently.
  • Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
  • Conduct work sessions for deliverables with staff and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle, ensuring deliveries on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects and adjust work effort to stay within budget and schedule parameters.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic reviews.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • PMP certification.
  • Texas PE license or ability to obtain reciprocity.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 years related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
