RVE, an Ardurra Company, seeks a Civil/Municipal Engineering Intern in King of Prussia, PA to gain hands-on experience on municipal infrastructure projects. Under supervision, you will assist with roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, and site design, support data collection, calculations, and project documentation, and learn software tools.

This internship offers exposure to working with municipalities, a strong team, and a pathway into civil engineering careers within Ardurra's network.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in civil engineering, municipal infrastructure, and working with local government agencies and municipalities.

Aufgaben

• Perform entry-level civil engineering duties on municipal projects.
• Assist with roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, wastewater, and site improvement design tasks.
• Support data collection, basic engineering calculations, reports, specs, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Assist with preparing plans, exhibits, maps, and other design documents for municipal and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility companies, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Review civil drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support field investigations and site visits to document existing infrastructure and site conditions.
• Apply basic civil engineering principles to contribute to project deliverables and municipal improvement projects.
• Gains exposure to engineering/design software for drafting, plan preparation, calculations, mapping, and documentation.
• Support project teams with technical and administrative assignments as needed.
• Develop understanding of regulations, standards, and practices affecting municipal projects.
• Gain exposure to the municipal project process from planning to permitting and construction.
