Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a full-time Senior Municipal Engineer to serve local communities on civil, municipal, and environmental projects. You will collaborate with CAD Technicians and project staff to deliver high-impact solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 10+ years of design experience, and the ability to obtain an Iowa PE license within one year. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, clothing allowance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 10 years of civil engineering design experience preferred.
• Iowa PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience in roadway, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water distribution design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare or modify plans, specifications, construction schedules, permits, and cost estimates.
• Work with Construction Observers during all facets of construction.
• Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule.
• Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Municipal Engineer. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office staff in various capacities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required.

• Previousroadway,stormsewer,sanitarycollectionsewersandwaterdistributiondesignexperiencedesired.Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsrequired.
