Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking skilled journeyman carpenters to perform construction, repair, and installation tasks on industrial sites across the United States. You will read blueprints, measure materials, assemble forms, and operate hand and power tools while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include erecting scaffolding, mixing concrete, installing doors and stairs, and maintaining detailed progress reports.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER preferred (Not required).
• Valid Driver's License or State ID required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Erect and destruct concrete forms, scaffolding and ramps above ground level.
• Maintain records, document actions, and present written progress reports.
• Verify trueness of structure, set grade, check for plumb, etc.
• Place and finish concrete.
• Be able to operate a forklift.
