Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ is seeking a Civil / Mechanical Lead to oversee all field activities on major utility-scale solar projects in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage grading, roadwork, drainage, and foundation installation while ensuring rigorous engineering, safety, and environmental standards.

You will bring 5+ years of civil construction experience with tracker foundations and heavy civil infrastructure, plus hands-on tracker deployment expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated civil construction experience on utility-scale solar or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with tracker foundations, pile driving logs, tracker mechanical assembly.
• Strong familiarity with geotechnical reports, witnessing compaction testing, and civil testing procedures.
• Rigorously monitor on-site civil activities including bulk earthworks, grading, road building and foundations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site grading, roadwork, drainage, foundation installation, and mechanical tracker deployment to meet engineering standards.
• Monitor field operations and ensure environmental and quality compliance (SWPPP, stormwater, erosion control).
• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers, subcontractors, and site leadership to maintain schedule and quality.
• Manage civil quality documentation and NCRs to close out non-conformances.
• Report to Site Manager / Construction Lead and provide hands-on leadership on site operations.
