Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, trenchers, backhoes, rollers, and compactors.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations on sites.
• Interpret blueprints, survey markers, and grade stakes for accurate operation.
• Dig, backfill, grade, and compact earth per project plans and supervisor instructions.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Assist with manual labor tasks as needed on site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers on site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Drive company vehicles to transport personnel and materials.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor.
