Job summary

Adams- seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation with a strong emphasis on trial preparation and trial support. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate, plus 3+ years in a law firm handling civil matters.

The candidate will manage discovery, draft legal documents, summarize transcripts, and assist with motion practice while using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create case materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Civil litigation experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
• Experience with legal research platforms and paperless file systems.
• iManage experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of civil cases for trial.
• Handle discovery, records management, and document organization.
• Summarize medical and employment records and prepare detailed medical chronologies.
• Summarize discovery responses and deposition transcripts.
• Draft meet and confer correspondence and litigation-related documents.
• Support motion practice, including discovery motions and motions to continue trial.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare case materials.
