Job summary

Quinn Covarrubias, a Professional Law Corporation, seeks an experienced paralegal to join our litigation team as we expand in Oregon and Washington. The role supports attorneys with discovery responses, deposition summaries, and trial preparation across multiple state practices.

The candidate will manage case timelines, conduct legal and factual research, and maintain electronic case files. Proficiency in MS Office, billing software, and trial presentation tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a certificated paralegal from an accredited institution; or otherwise qualified by experience.
• Experience supporting litigation teams in fast-paced environments is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

** Experienced Paralegal**

** Quinn Covarrubias, A Professional Law Corporation** is looking for an Experienced Paralegal to join our team. We are a litigation firm with offices in Roseville and Orange County with practice areas throughout California, Nevada, and Oregon. We are expanding our practice in Oregon and into Washington and plan to open an office in the Portland metro area and are looking for a motivated paralegal to join our team which includes one licensed Oregon attorney in the Portland area, and one licensed Oregon attorney in our main office in Roseville, CA.

** Duties of the Position**

• Assisting attorneys in answering discovery.
• Completing deposition and medical record summaries.
• Building and maintaining timelines.
• Legal and factual research.
• Assisting with trial preparation and other duties as assigned.

** Qualifications & Requirements**

** Education & Experience**

• Must be a certificated paralegal from an accredited institution; or otherwise qualified by experience.

** Core Legal Skills**

• Efficiency in litigation support skills, including preparation of pleadings and discovery, and familiarity with Oregon civil procedure. Familiarity with Washington procedure is a plus.
• Prior experience assisting an attorney who is preparing a case for trial.
• Experience scheduling medical provider depositions.
• Prior experience summarizing depositions, including medical and expert depositions.
• Experience subpoenaing medical records and witnesses.
• Build, maintain, and track assigned case files on an electronic database.
• Cross-check and validate information for assigned case(s).

• Experience with MS Office Programs OneNote, Teams, legal calendaring software, and basic office equipment.
• Experience with billing time and billing software.
• Experience with trial presentation software is a plus.
