Orion Placement is seeking an experienced litigation attorney for a boutique practice in Tysons Corner, VA. • 8+ years of civil litigation experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 2+ years and substantial courtroom experience will be considered.
• Substantial experience practicing in Virginia Circuit Courts.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex business and commercial litigation matters from filing through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
• Argue motions in Virginia Circuit Courts and other state courts.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.
• Develop and execute litigation and discovery strategy.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic guidance.
• Prepare cases for bench and jury trials.
• Serve as lead counsel where appropriate.
• Collaborate with experienced trial attorneys on sophisticated litigation matters.

Location

Tysons Corner, Virginia. Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule that combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Candidates should reside in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC and be available for court appearances and team interaction as needed.

Note

Candidates must be admitted to the Virginia Bar and possess meaningful experience practicing in Virginia state courts. Attorneys with 2+ years of experience will be considered if they have substantial courtroom experience.
