The role offers a base salary of $200,000–$250,000 with a productivity-based bonus program and comprehensive benefits. In-person work in Oakland is expected.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–7 years of meaningful civil litigation work.
• Familiarity with construction disputes is an advantage, although attorneys from other substantive litigation practices are welcome to apply.
• Insurance defense-only experience will not meet the position's needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare persuasive court filings and legal arguments.
• Oversee discovery proceedings and the exchange of case materials.
• Conduct witness examinations under oath.
• Present arguments during court hearings.
• Shape case strategy and coordinate important litigation activities.
• Assist with settlement proceedings, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Maintain direct communication with clients.
