Jobot in Walnut Creek, CA seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to manage civil litigation matters from intake through resolution in a mid-size defense firm with a hybrid remote/office schedule.

The successful candidate will have an active CA bar license in good standing, strong litigation and research skills, and the ability to independently manage a caseload, including hearings, depositions, and mediations, while advising clients on risk and strategy.

Formación

• Active CA bar license in good standing.
• Experience in civil litigation and trial practice.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload.
• Experience or interest in civil practice areas such as real estate, premises liability, and business disputes.

Responsabilidades

• Appear in court for hearings and trials.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
• Advise clients on risk management and business counseling issues; analyze contracts and policies, and help develop dispute strategies.
