HDR, Inc. in Las Vegas seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector to observe and document civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water facilities, and pipelines.

You will monitor progress, coordinate field sampling and testing, and work under the supervision of the Senior Inspector. Required qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, proficiency with MS Office, strong written communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines
• Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects
• Conduct or coordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress
• Perform other duties as needed
