Salary: $20.00-$28.00

Harrison Western Construction Company (HW) is a full-service specialty contractor specializing in slope stabilization and ground improvement headquartered in Denver, Colorado. We provide soil nail, micropile, compaction grouting, and many other specialty services to complete projects for Departments of Transportation, Federal and State agencies, local municipalities, as well as private clients in Colorado and throughout the nation.

We are looking for Construction Laborers to join our growing Civil team. Laborers work under the direction of other field personnel performing physical activities in support of completing construction jobs. Laborers are vital to the success of the crew and job and should be able to troubleshoot and follow directions to ensure the job is completed safely and accurately.

Experience in geotechnical work is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist crew leader in construction and maintenance work
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate potential hazards
• Operate specialized equipment, which may include skid steers, excavators, drill rigs, grout plants, etc.
• Load and unload materials at the jobsite
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Report to the job site daily; sites are generally along the Denver front range and in the Midwest (KY area), but can be anywhere in the country. Job durations typically range from 1-4 weeks.
• Extensive travel and per diem for overnight stays
• Gas allowance provided if working more than 50 miles outside the metro area when in the front range
• Work safely at all times

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of construction experience, preferably in utility construction
• Ability to travel extensively nationwide
• Ability to follow directions from leadership
• Ability to recognize safety risks and hazards
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work in standing, seated, or other physical positions
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background checks
• Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage: $20.00 - $28.00 DOE
• Per diem based on location
