DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible, motivated, and proficient Highway and Bridge Maintenance Laborer with good ethics and a positive attitude. This role involves performing highway maintenance tasks such as traffic control setup, bridge maintenance and cleaning, and tree brush removal.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform various highway maintenance tasks, including bridge cleaning, maintenance, tree cutting, and vegetation removal.
• Conduct equipment inspections before and after use.
• Set up and tear down temporary traffic control measures daily.
• Ensure all work complies with safety guidelines.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Use all equipment and tools properly and safely.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of clean driving record.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (company can provide if not already certified).
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Available to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Comfortable working at various heights.
• Willing to travel away from home for up to 1-2 weeks in DE, NJ, NY, PA, and VA (expenses paid by the company).
