Job summary

Castle Contracting seeks an experienced Project Foreman/Lead to manage earthwork, site utilities, and general excavation projects in the Omaha area. The role requires overseeing crews from 1–10 craft workers, equipment management, and material procurement.

Multiple positions exist from working foreman to general foreman. The candidate should be a current union member or willing to join, with 5+ years of civil project management experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience successfully managing civil projects.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Must be a current member of the local union or willing to join.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety initiatives including daily task hazard analysis and permits.
• Track time for crews daily.
• Communicate clearly with crew, project staff, trade partners and clients.
• Read and interpret construction drawings.
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others.
