Job summary

NTH Consultants, Ltd. in Michigan is seeking a Civil Engineer to support infrastructure projects from tunnels to bridges. You’ll collect data, analyze drawings, and monitor field operations while collaborating with a team in a flexible, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrate team-oriented approach to problem-solving, and have strong interpersonal skills for contact with clients and fellow engineers/technicians.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites as well as offices in Michigan.

• Responsible for collection and analysis of data for development of project drawings and specifications.

How You Will Make an Impact

· Exceptional time management skills, ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time, and have ability to work in a team environment.

· Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites as well as offices in Michigan.

· May be required to perform job duties in the field and office, during non-standard work hours, as necessary.

· May be required to enter and work within confined spaces, once appropriately trained.

· May be required to enter and work on elevated platforms or lifts, once appropriately trained.
